Over a year in streamline Multipoint Computing with Microsoft, MCT made its selected product line compatible with both Window Multipoint Server 2010 & 2011 providing Video over USB solution and in addition to existing model now releasing a new workstation model 9940 with GIGA-LAN imbedded to free the limitation of distance.
MWS9940 Multipoint ‘USB over LAN’ kit are based on its own Video over USB technology made available via GIGA-LAN to provide wider bandwidth and the kit combined two USB port for Keyboard and Mouse as well as a VGA port for display and nevertheless a Speaker-Out & Microphone-In ports is included.
This ‘Over LAN’ kit enhanced WMS2011 zero client experience that overwhelming the 5 Meter limitation of USB cable, made easy for small and medium business environment.
MWS9940 powers WMS2011 system in full features allowing one computer to serve up to 10 workstations without adding 2nd computer or any excess graphic card, great for cost saving!
MWS9940 provides Plug-and-Play solution; it is an excellent device to line with WMS2011 system for none IT background user.
Compare with conventional computing environment when all workstation power up, it saved overall energy consumption up to 80% and lower the environment heat as well.
MWS9940 is designed to bring ultra low-cost computing environment to education environment as well as SMB and governments; it will be available for OEM partners by March 2011.
